Do not miss the Tower Apponale, a 1220 clock tower of 34 meters high above the port of Riva and Riva Rocca, a fortress which is entirely surrounded by water. Very interesting to visit is the Municipal Museum, which houses important examples of local history, art and culture.
Riva del Garda is situated between two mountains: Mount Baldo in the east and Mount Rocchetta in the west, with its medieval fortress called Bastion.
