Cavalese is a picturesque village in Val di Fiemme, charming its visitors with breathtaking panoramic views and the special atmosphere of a nice small town. With about 4,000 residents it is the administrative center of Val di Fiemme and therefore it has a well developed infrastructure for tourism.

And that’s not all: In the immediate vicinity, there are several first class ski areas, for example Cermis, which directly adjoins to Cavalese and invites also to snowshoe hiking tours. There is a very vast range of activities, so that every winter athlete will be satisfied.

In summer, the beautiful landscape is an ideal terrain for walkers and hikers. The region around Cavalese is famous for its extensive forests, the pristine nature and the impressive and varied landscape. Starting in Cavalese, you have nearly unlimited possibilities to explore this unique place on earth. Cavalese scores even with cultural aspects: A highlight of the whole region is the about 500 year-old Magnifica Comunita with its wonderful collection of paintings. Also well worth seeing are the houses in the centre that are decorated with frescos and the historical parochial parc with its old church and the "Banco della Resòn".
